The Cutest Darn Tea Party For Miami’s Kindest Women

One way that I vow to live my life is to always apply the powerful lessons I’ve learned in my 29 years into actual things, and not just ideas. To create things that can be used, things that have inspired or helped me tremendously. What I really love to do, too, is turn my ideas into spectacular affairs that bring together so many beautiful, powerful spirits.

I have been blessed, yes, and I have felt the force of our global community. Community connection has had such a profound impact on the tremendous support that I’ve received with TOPLESS. The strength in bringing together inspiring women around radical honesty and kindness is quite possibly one of the strongest alignments. So, I vow, to do it more often.

After TOPLESS Miami, I brought together, again, fifty of Miami’s kindest women, to celebrate all of our efforts and triumphs. All of our attempts were celebrated with the most incredible hot tea blends and of course, cake. But not just any cake. A Mackenzie Childs inspired teapot cake. And hydrangea cupcakes in My Kind of Life sky blue. With gorgeous tea bag sugar cookie favors, each one adorned with a different inspirational quote for the guests of honor.

That’s another lesson I learned in life: Be brave enough to throw your own kind of party, one that thrills you to pieces.

The yummiest part, which was a welcome reprieve from the warm sticky Miami weather that I’ve come to love so much, was the adorable ginnybakes and So Delicious cashew milk ice cream sandwich station. For good measure, we smothered the insides of the dreamy vegan cookie with a generous layer of Justin’s hazelnut butter, too. Putting my favorite cookie together with the cashew ice cream that I fantasize about, with a layer of chocolate hazelnut butter was the perfect way to celebrate the kindest sisters in Miami.

Another life lesson I learned from a wise friend: Call it like it is. We’re sisters. Maybe not from the same mother, but we all walk the same path. If we unlearn that we belong only to one family and remember that we are an important piece in a global community, then wherever we walk, whichever path we take, there we are, traveling amongst the kindest sisterhood.

Cheers, sisters.
